MAINTENANCE: The Service Catalog section of the ITS Website will be intermittently unavailable today while ITS performs maintenance and upgrades from 12:00PM-11:59PM ET Tonight, October 23. During this time, ITS will be updating the entire Service Catalog section of the ITS Website.

RESOLVED: Network connectivity in the FSU Data Center at the Northwest Regional Data Center impacting VoIP and Centrex users have now been resolved. Thank you for your patience while ITS worked to resolve the issue. [10/22/2020 6:26PM]


UPDATE: Network connectivity in the FSU Data Center at the Northwest Regional Data Center is still experiencing intermittent issues that is impacting VoIP and Centrex users. ITS is investigating this issue. [10/22/2020 2:45PM ET]


PROBLEM: Network connectivity in the FSU Data Center at the Northwest Regional Data Center is currently intermittently available, which appears to be a result of the network maintenance that occurred this morning. ITS is investigating this issue and will have the network restored as soon as possible.

As mentioned in July, Seminole Cable Vision and Comcast television Services are no longer being offered at FSU. If your department needs to find a replacement, please contact procurement services at procurement@fsu.edu.

MAINTENANCE: ITS Active Directory systems will be intermittently available while ITS performs planned maintenance from 8AM-12PM ET Saturday, October 17. During this time, ITS will be installing security and critical updates released by Microsoft. The installation of these updates may require a restart of the systems. MAINTENANCE:  All ITS-hosted Windows systems, excluding ERP, and Active Directory systems will be intermittently available while ITS performs planned maintenance from 4-7AM ET, Thursday, October 15.  During this time, ITS will install security and critical updates released by Microsoft. The installation of these updates may require a restart of the systems. These updates are performed on the Thursdays following the release of Microsoft updates (the second Tuesday of every month).

RESOLVED: All Canvas issues have now been resolved. Thank you for your patience while the Canvas DevOps team worked to resolve the issue. [10/09/2020 12:23PM]


PROBLEM: Canvas is reporting intermittent availability issues for a small subset of users. Canvas DevOps team is investigating this issue to have the service restored as soon as possible.

MAINTENANCE: OnBase will be unavailable while ITS performs planned maintenance from 5:30PM-7:30PM ET Tuesday, October 13. ITS will be applying updates that support these services.

RESOLVED: The Drupal vendor has completed their update and the ITS Service Catalog is now available. Thanks for your patience as the issues were being resolved. [10/8/2020 7:15PM]

 

PROBLEM: The ITS Service Catalog is currently unavailable.The Drupal vendor is applying a code update and will confirm availability upon completion.

RESOLVED:  All Microsoft issues and related services have now been resolved. Thanks for your patience while ITS and Microsoft worked to resolve the issues.  [10/8/2020 7:50AM]


UPDATE:  Further investigation has confirmed that a recent update to network infrastructure resulted in impact to Microsoft 365 services. Our telemetry indicates continued recovery within the environment following the reversion of the update;

  • SharePoint Online/OneDrive for Business - Services are healthy
  • Microsoft Teams - Services are healthy
  • Microsoft Forms - Services are healthy
  • Microsoft Intune - Services are recovering
  • Exchange Online - Services are recovering
  • Outlook.com - Services are recovering
  • Admin center - Services have not recovered

PROBLEM:  Microsoft has received reports of user impact to Microsoft 365 services and is working to investigate the cause of the issue. Users may be unable to access Microsoft 365 services, including Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Outlook.com, and SharePoint Online/OneDrive for Business
